Adaileh announces defense orders 10 and 11
جهينة نيوز -Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad Adaileh, said the Cabinet held a session chaired by Prime Minister, Omar Razzaz, during which a set of procedures and decisions were taken to ensure work continuity, resumption of operations at various sectors, and measures aimed to adjust instructions triggered by the Covid-19 crisis repercussions and work stoppage of public and private institutions.
During a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management, on Sunday, he announced the two defense orders (10 and 11) for 2020, which were issued by the Prime Minister.
Defense Order No. (10), according to Adaileh, includes the extension of the period set for filing income tax returns, and the period to funnel the withholding tax collected by the Income and Sales Tax Department, until June 30, in addition to extending the period granted to the chartered accountant to submit a statement of the names and addresses of clients to the Income and Sales Tax Department, until June 30.
As for defense order No. (11) for 2020, he said aims to commit entities' owners authorized to work, to follow the utmost caution, to adhere to prevention and precaution methods, to limit practices that may cause Covid-19 transmission, and to impose penalties on every facility whose employees do not wear face masks and medical gloves, or perform practices that endanger citizens' health and safety.
