Jordan's startup ecosystem rapidly evolving: Report
جهينة نيوز -Jordan's startup ecosystem is now evolving at a faster pace driven by abundant human talents and availability of support from key stakeholders, including business incubators and accelerators, the Information and Communications Technology Association - Jordan (Int@j) said on Sunday.
Int@j cited an MIT Enterprise Forum (MITRF) report highlighting the development of the business-doing environment in Jordan, particularly the startups sector. The report also monitors the results of Arab entrepreneurship growth indicators.
It highlights two Jordanian start-up companies that attracted more than US$9.5 million worth of venture capital in February, noting that investors’ trust in start-up companies is on the rise following training programs for entrepreneurs on how to better deliver their projects and put forward schemes for improvement and enhancement.
